有關澳大利亞修訂輸入番茄屬(Lycopersicon spp. 或Solanum spp.)種子之輸入檢疫條件，詳如說明。
一、依據WTO秘書處本(101)年2月3日G/SPS/N/AUS/225/Add.1通知文件辦理。
二、依據澳大利亞檢疫規定，僅同意表列內番茄屬種子輸入，如非屬表列者，須另向澳國檢疫單位(AQIS)提出申請(請參考附件1之Table1)。
三、自即日起，我國輸往澳國之番茄屬種子應採下列(一)或(二)方式經實驗室進行香瓜茄嵌紋病毒(Pepino mosaic virus，PepMV)及馬鈴薯紡錘形塊莖類病毒(Potato spindle tuber viroid，PSTVD)檢測，由檢測實驗室出具檢測報告後，並由防檢局於植物檢疫證明書上加註相關內容。
(一) 該批種子須依國際種子聯盟(International Seed Federation)規定之ELISA檢測方法(附件2)，取樣3,000粒種子進行PepMV檢測，及依國際種子聯盟規定之RT-PCR檢測方法，取樣20,000粒種子進行PSTVD檢測，並加註︰
1. The tomato seed in lot(s)………(種子批號) of ………(出口商名稱)in the consignment grown in Taiwan (R. O. C.) was tested for Pepino mosaic virus and found to be free of the virus by using the ELISA test method of the Manual of Seed Health Testing Methods of the International Seed Federation (version 4, March 2011) on a sample of 3000 seeds drawn from the lot and divided and tested as sub-samples of no more than 250 seeds.
2. The seed was found to be free of viroid by using a reverse-transcription PCR test for the viroid on a sample of 20,000 seeds drawn from the lot and divided and tested as sub-samples of no more than 400 seeds.
(二) 該批種子須產自經本局以ELISA或 RT-PCR檢測調查未發生PepMV之生產點，及經本局以RT-PCR檢測調查未發生PSTVD之生產點，並加註The tomato seed in lot(s)………(種子批號) of ………(出口商名稱) in the consignment was grown in Taiwan (R. O. C.) in a place of production that is free of Pepino mosaic virus, based on an official survey for the virus using an ELISA or reverse transcription PCR test for the virus, and free of Potato spindle tuber viroid, based on an official survey for the viroid using a reverse transcription PCR test for the viroid。
四、已採收之番茄屬種子，其原栽培田如於申報輸出檢疫時仍用於相同種子之生產，本局同意依前述(二)方式取樣現有番茄屬植株材料進行實驗室檢測及檢疫證明書加註事宜。
五、另依現行規定，超過100克之番茄屬種子，須再檢疫確認未罹染斑皮蠹屬(Trogoderma spp.)有害生物，並加註The seeds in the shipment have been inspected and found apparently free from all species of the genus Trogoderma。
