(The import quarantine inspection permit for dog/cat revised on January 5, 2026. 2026 was a grace period during which both the old and new versions were applicable. The old version will no longer be applicable from January 1, 2027.)

  • Temporary Suspension of the Admission of Dogs and Cats for Post-Entry Quarantine at Guanyin Quarantine Station (Feb. 7–22, 2026)：To enhance care quality, the dog and cat quarantine facility at Guanyin Quarantine Station is scheduled to undergo thorough cleaning and disinfection.  Admission of dogs and cats will be suspended from February 7 to February 22, 2026.The last admission time is 3:00 PM on February 6, 2026. Pet owners are advised to schedule their arrival flights accordingly and allow at least4 hours for customs clearance.

• Shipping fare for dogs/cats/ferrets/rabbit from the port of entry to the quarantine premise (See below Files)

• APHIA Form 001: from rabies-free countries (zones) to Taiwan (See below Files)

• Breeding and import of Pit Bull Terriers are banned by the Ministry of Agriculture, formerly known as COA(Council of Agriculture), Executive Yuan starting March 1, 2022
