The division is responsible for the
administration of animal health inspection, disease prevention, veterinarian
registration and veterinary drug management. Another role is to strengthen animal disease
diagnosis capabilities and develop animal disease control techniques. In addition, the division conducts testing,
registration and permit issuance of veterinary drugs, management of sales and
application, and strengthening of the veterinary drug residue monitoring
program.
